James Morris

Sr. Program Director

James Morris, a Navy veteran with a strong background in aviation, has dedicated over 20 years to a successful career in Information Technology. As the Sr. Program Director at GBSI, he brings expertise in IT Leadership, Strategy, Digital Technologies, Data Analytics, and Information Security.

James previously worked as a software developer supporting the Department of Defense at GBSI before transitioning to the commercial financial industry in 2018. In 2021, he returned to GBSI, where in his current role, he manages the company’s federal contracts and subcontracts.

Collaborating closely with the executive leadership team, James identifies growth opportunities to expand GBSI’s portfolio of programs. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of West Florida and maintains industry certifications including Program Management Professional (PMP) among others.
