Tracie Polk

Senior Vice President & CFO

Tracie Polk serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at GBSI. Her role involves ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all business data distributed to both internal and external stakeholders. Tracie joined GBSI in 2011 as an Accounting Specialist and has since risen through the ranks, transitioning from Accounting Manager to her position as CFO. In 2024, she added the role of Senior Vice President to her responsibilities.

Tracie’s expertise lies in accounting, and she leverages her extensive thirty-five years of experience in private accounting positions to further the GBSI mission. Before joining GBSI, she worked at a family-owned business, handling all accounting functions. She then took on roles with increased responsibility and accountability at Daws Manufacturing and W.D. Rogers Mechanical Contractors, Inc. before settling in at GBSI. Her efforts have been instrumental in developing efficient business processes and procedures, ultimately contributing to the company’s DCAA-approved accounting system.

Tracie holds an associate’s degree in accounting technology and is a proud veteran of the United States Army.
